Treating Nocturia and the positive benefits this can bring

Can
Nocturia
be treated?

Nocturia is usually easy to treat. The treatment you receive will depend on the cause of your Nocturia.

Treating Nocturnal Polyuria (NP) is different to treating Overactive Bladder (OAB) or Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH), all of which are causes of Nocturia. You may have to make some lifestyle changes or try different medications.
Talk to your healthcare professional to determine the treatment options that are right for you.
Treating Nocturia may increase your physical and mental wellbeing and have a positive effect on your personal and professional life. Without producing so much urine at night, you will sleep more easily. Without constant trips to the bathroom and waking your partner, you and your partner should feel well rested in the morning.
